Prior to founding her own art advisory service in 2008, Ms. Hoeveler was Managing Director and Contemporary art advisor and appraiser at the Citigroup Private Bank Art Advisory Service, where she led a team of specialists, registrars, research associates, and lending advisors in building, financing, and maintaining private art collections. She spent the previous nine years at Christie’s auction house in various roles, completing her tenure as an SVP in management. Before joining Christie’s, she spent six years producing site-specific public art installations with leading Contemporary artists at Miami-Dade Art in Public Places. She holds a Master’s degree in Art History from the University of Edinburgh, and a B.A. in Art History and English from Wellesley College. Ms. Hoeveler is a member of the Association of Professional Art Advisors (APAA). She has lectured, served on panels, and been interviewed widely in the media on issues relating to the art market and collecting.
